Burma Diaspora doku-feature, 90 min, english (german ST)
	Nature guide Pi Vat and the dancer Ledoh are exiled Karen. Searching for their roots, they head off into their native land in the east of Burma. Ledoh ventures out to formulate his children the story about their origin, while Pi Vat wants to help an old friend with a rampaging herd of wild elephants. Always on guard against the troops of the Burmese military dictatorship, Pi Vat and Ledoh undergo hair-raising adventures on their march through the jungle. They witness what 57 years of civil war have done to their compatriots: a whole nation permanently on the run.
