Max&Bert go for it and shoot a film about their Karen friends Baw Baw Poe and Eh Kaw Htoo, who secretly smuggle medical aid from Thailand into the Burmese hinterland. In only two weeks the team wanders for more than 300 kilometres about the inaccessible mountains of the Karen. After 10 days the main camera pops the clogs - with the next repair shop 800 km away as the crow flies. Exhaustion and fatigue cast a compassionate veil over fear of Burmese army patrols and malaria.
